Route Options…

The Full MAMMOTH course is 132 miles and roughly 13,000 ft.+ of elevation gain to challenge even the most advanced riders. Those of you that choose to attempt the Full MAMMOTH will ride two separate non overlapping loops. Both loops begin and end at the same place in downtown Wellsboro. The morning loop is 64 miles in length and afternoon is 68 miles. 

The Half MAMMOTH riders will just ride the 64 mile morning loop along with the Full MAMMOTH riders but will be done riding after the morning loop. This route should have about 6,500 ft. of elevation gain.

New for this year! The Quarter MAMMOTH Route is an abbreviated version of what the half MAMMOTH Route riders are doing. You still get breakfast and lunch as well as stopping at Aid 1 for Espresso and baked goods but you only ride 39 miles and climb about 3700 ft. Not necessarily "beginner friendly" but still a challenge without absolutely destroying yourself.

*Roughly halfway through each loop there will be an absolute banger of an aid station. We work with local businesses to provide hearty food at aid stations, as well as the essentials. The morning aid stop is included with all registrations. The afternoon stop is included with only Full MAMMOTH Registrations.

Food Options…

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided for the Full MAMMOTH riders.

Breakfast and Lunch is included for the Half and Quarter MAMMOTH riders.

There will be Vegan options available at all meals and aid stations.

• Breakfast options are Bagel Breakfast Sandwich or Oatmeal w/ assorted toppings.

• Lunch options are Swine Fries or Black Bean Burgers w/ fries or Grilled Chicken Salad

• Dinner options are Brisket Mac n’ Cheese or Cauliflower Tacos or Grilled Chicken Salad

• (Options are selected in the registration process.) 

Miscellaneous Details…

All event day check in, meals, and after ride hang out will all be centralized around the tent constructed on the grass lot on the corner of Main St. and Central Ave. next to Beck's Bistro.

Free parking is available within a few hundred feet of the event center. If you stay at the Hotels located in downtown Wellsboro you will only be about a 2 minute bicycle ride from the Start/Mid/Finish.

*Please keep in mind that there will be a support vehicle patrolling the course as well as sweep riders bringing up the rear but we highly recommend that you carry what you need for approx. 35 mile stretches)

*THIS EVENT WILL HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE.  We DO NOT offer refunds or deferrals as all the event food and promotional items are paid for and ordered ahead of time. PLEASE CONSIDER ADDING REG INSURANCE OFFERED THROUGH BIKEREG IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT WEATHER ETC. AND GETTING REFUNDED.

*We try our best to mark this monster route but the weather the previous days to the event really can dictate how well it is marked. The safest option is to use a bicycle computer with navigation or a phone app like Komoot or RWGPS for navigation. A GPX file will be sent to the email you use to register a few weeks prior to the event
